International Shipping
International shipping is our core business. We mainly specialize in international shipping from China to Australia, from China to USA and from China to UK. We can organize shipping door to door both by sea and by air with customs clearance included. We can ship from all main cities in China including Guangzhou Shenzhen Xiamen Ningbo Shanghai Qingdao Tianjin to all main ports in Australia/ UK/ USA.
After our customers choose us as their shipping agent, We will contact their Chinese factories directly.
We will coordinate with their Chinese factory to pick up the cargo or issue entry notice so that their Chinese factory can send products to our Chinese warehouse.
At the same time DAKA will book shipping space with vessel owner or airline company.
After cargo get onto vessel or airplane, DAKA Team in Australia/ USA/ UK will contact consignee to prepare for local customs clearance.
After vessel/airplane arrive, our Australian/USA/UK team will organize Australia/ USA/ UK inland delivery to consignee’s door as per customers’ instruction.
Customs Clearance
Customs clearance is a very professional service which DAKA can provide and can be pround of.
DAKA International Transport is licensed customs broker in China with AA leval. Also we cooperated with professional and experienced customs broker in Australia/ USA/ UK for years.
Customs clearance service is a very key factor to distinguish different shipping companies to see if they are competitive in the market. High quality shipping company must have professional and experienced customs clearance team.
Take China for example, Chinese government distinguish all customs brokers into 5 levels including AA ,A ,B,C, D. The Chinese government make very few customs checks on the products declared by AA customs broker. However if you choose a customs broker of D level, it means there is great posssibility that the Chinese customs will open your packages and check if the products are legal. When we met customs inspection, it means with much possibility that your shipment may not catch the vessel and cause a lot of extra charges.
A good customs borker is not just submitting docs to customs system. Even before you start importing from China, you need to ask your customs borker if these products are legal to import or if any special license or permit required. For example when we ship from China to AU, if the products or the packages contain raw wood, we need to get fumigation certificate before it enters into Australia
If unluck and there is customs inspection, a good customs clearance broker should monitor the process and coordinate with customs officer timely. A good customs broker should be professional and experienced when customs officers ask questions. A good answer to customs officer can avoid the cargo to get into next trouble like X-ray check or container-open check, which will cause further extra charges like port storage fee, vessel change fee etc
Warehousing/Repacking/Fumigation
Warehousing is another international shipping related service provided by DAKA . It can make our shipping service more felexible. DAKA has about one thousand square meter of warehouse in each main port of China. Also we have overseas warehouse in Australia/ USA/ UK.
For example, when you buy different products from different suppliers in China, you can let all your suppliers send products to our warehouse. We can provide storage and ship all together at one time to save money , which is much more cheaper than shipping separately.
Warehousing can also let DAKA provide some extra but very essential service to our customers. We can provide repackaging/labeling/fumigation in our warehouse.
Sometimes factories pack the products in a very bad way or in a way that is not good for international shipping. We can repack the cargo in our Chinese warehouse under this circumstance.
Sometimes the buyers in Australia/ USA/ UK do not want to release their factory information to their end customers, we can change the package in our warehouse to hide real factory information. We can also put labels onto the products as per customers’ request .
If the products or packaging contain raw wood, we need to make fumigation in our Chinese warehouse and issue fumigation certificate before we ship them from China to Australia/ USA/ UK.
FTA certificate(COO)/Insurance
China and Australia signed a free trade agreement. So more than 90% of products from China are duty free if you can provide FTA cerfiticate(COO).
FTA certificate(Free Trade Agreement certficate) is also called COO(Certificate of Origin). It is a kind of doc that demonstrate the products are from China. Below are the FTA(COO)sample. With FTA certificate, you can apply for zero duty from AU government for your shipment from China to Australia. You only need to pay GST which is 10% of cargo value. However if your cargo value is less than AUD1000, it is AU duty/gst free and you have no need to get FTA certificate in this situation.
Also when you ship from China to Australia/ USA/ UK, we can buy international shipping insurance for you. International shipping insurance cost is based on cargo value . When we met earthquake ,typhoon or something belong to force majeure, insurance company will cover the risk. Insurance cost is based on cargo value.
